In Ayurveda, the sister science to YOGA the autumn season is marks the transitions from Pitta (fire) to the vata dosha, the element of air and space. It is the season that promotes in us all that is cool, light, dry and mobile. When teaching I love to take the opportunity to "turn the beat around - turn it upside down".
