INDIGO GIRLS - Price: High to Low
This season, we found a dye house in Lancaster, PA that takes their impact on the planet seriously. They gather rainwater in a 60,000-gallon cistern underneath their studio to be used in production. Using rainwater allows them to naturally remove impurities from the water that could impact the color outcome on fiber. After the dye is exhausted, it still contains the dye mordants and organic plant matter, both of which are compostable. Each piece is unique, hand dyed and gets better as they age!
